Acer saccharum (Sugar Maple) is a species of tree in the family Sapindaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, North America, Eastern North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have green flowers. Flowers are visited by Downy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, American Red Sqirrel, and White-breasted Nuthatch. Individuals can grow to 35 m.
