Leaf-blades spatulate to cuneate, 1-4 cm. long, rounded at the apex, glabrous, shining on both sides, short-petioled ; raceme-rachis and pedicels glabrous ; sepals ovate or oval, about 3 mm. long, the glands about one half the length of the sepal-body ; larger petals 6-7 mm. long ; drupes globular, 8-9 mm in diameter.
Type locality : Cuba. Distribution : Eastern Cuba.

Leaf-blades spatulate to obovate-spatulate or cuneate, 1.5-5.5 cm. long, rounded or abruptly pointed at the apex, glabrous, shining above, dull beneath, short-petioled ; panicle-rachis and pedicels often sparingly pubescent during anthesis, glabrous at maturity ; sepals ovate or oblong-ovate, 2.5-3 mm. long, the glands one half the length of the sepalbody or less; larger petals 5-6 mm. long; drupes globular or spheroidal, 9-12 mm. in diameter.
Type locality : Cuba.
Distribution : Southern Florida and the West Indies.
