Stems 1-4 dm. tall, glandular-pubescent ; leaf-blades reniform to orbicular, 3-11 cm. in diameter, shallowly and broadly several-many-lobed, the lobes entire or slightly toothed, the petioles longer than the blades, glabrous or nearly so; sepals ovate, 1-1.5 mm. long, 1-nerved ; petals 3 mm. long, the blades flat and entire, spatulate, gradually narrowed into the claws ; follicles 5-6 mm. long.
Type locality : Highland County, Ohio.
Distribution : Ohio and Indiana.
