Olyra longifolia is a species of grass in the family true grasses. They are climbers. They are native to Acre (Brazil), Amapá, The Neotropics, Amazônia, Pará, Maranhao, Roraima, and Mato Grosso.
Definition: Open shrubland and savanna in the north of Brazil and in Colombia and Venezuela, with low, sparse vegetation growing on sandy soils mostly within terra firme land in the Amazon.
