Found in European waters at depth of 50 - 100m. Moves around close to sea floor.

Bilaterally symmetrical mollusc that grows from 1 - 15cm. The foot forms a ciliated ridge, within a ventral pedal groove formed from the lateral margins of the mantle. Pedal glands secrete mucus into the groove from behind the mouth.
