Sisyrinchium scariosum is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Pampa, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
