Clematis virginiana (Devil's Darning Needles) is a species of shrub in the family Ranunculaceae. They are climbers. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have white flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Aerial yellowjacket, Great Black Wasp, Xylocopa virginica virginica, and Syrphid fly. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
