Kalmia latifolia (Mountain Laurel) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They are native to Eastern North America, North America, The Contiguous United States, and United States. They have purple flowers and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee, White Slant-Line, Anthophora abrupta, and Bradley's Andrena. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
