Tectaria incisa (Incised Halberd Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Tectariaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Amazônia, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, Bahia, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Roraima, Ceará, Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and Acre (Brazil). They have compound, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
