Ophiothrix fragilis (Common Brittlestar) is a species of echinoderms in the family Ophiotrichidae. They are native to Atlantic Ocean, the Palearctic, and Ethiopia. They are surficial modifiers. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
