Commation cryoporinum Thomsen and Larsen, 1993. Cells are 10 - 20 microns in length, with an oval profile and a long cylindrical proboscis. The main part of the cell may be distorted by the presence of large coloured food granules. Cells are flexible and have a fluid rotating motion as they glide.
