They are native to GoiáS, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Paraná, RondôNia, Santa Catarina, Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, and Rio De Janeiro. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
