They are native to Pampa, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Caatinga, Bahia, The Neotropics, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Distrito Federal, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Mato Grosso. They have achenes.
