Description

Erect perennial herb, up to 2 m but usually less. Leaves mostly opposite, variable in shape and size, from near linear to ovate-oblong; margin shallowly serrate. Capitula yellow, in inflorescences at the ends of branches. Ray-florets up to 2 cm, deeply 3-dentate at the apex.
