Blanchetia is a monotypic genus^[1] of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, containing the single species Blanchetia heterotricha.^[2] It is endemic to Brazil (states of Bahia, Alagoas, Paraíba, Pernambuco, and Sergipe).^[3]^[4]
