Test commonly attached to shell fragments or to other foraminifers, up to 1mm in length, large ovoid proloculus followed by narrower tubular rectilinear chamber; wall finely agglutinated on an inner proteinaceous layer, reddish-brown in color, surface smoothly finished and glossy; aperture terminal, rounded.
