Chrysobalanus icaco (Coco Plum) is a species of tree in the family Chrysobalanaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Espirito Santo, Saint Barthelemy, Rio De Janeiro, Guadeloupe, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), Sergipe, The Contiguous United States, Ceará, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mata Atlântica, Florida, Middle America, ParaíBa, Bahia, Netherlands Antilles, Eastern North America, Maranhao, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Piauí. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Wasp, Long-tailed Skipper, Phocides pigmalion, and Julia Heliconian. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
