Potentilla simplex (Common Cinquefoil) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Lycaena hypophlaeas, Nomada parva, Andrena personata, and Negro ant. Individuals can grow to 0.15 m.
