A low growing thorny bush, bark dark brown. Leaf digitately compound, rachis c. 5-11 mm long, persistent, spinescent; leaflets 2-9 mm long, 1-3.5 mm broad, lanceolate to obovate-lanceolate, acute. Inflorescence solitary axillary, peduncle small, 3 mm or less long. Bracts absent. Calyx glabrous, reddish, teeth deltoid. Fruit c. 2-4.1 cm long, linear, acute, glabrous.
