Panaspis annettesabinae, also known as Sabin's snake-eyed skink, is a species of lidless skinks in the family Scincidae. It is endemic to Ethiopia.[2] It is known from certainty only from its type locality near Bedele in the Oromia Region, southwestern Ethiopia, although there is a tentative record from central Ethiopia.[1]
This species is named after Annette Sabin, from the philanthropic Sabin family.[1][2]
The holotype was found in a clearing within moist evergreen montane forest at 1,840 m (6,040 ft) above sea level. [1]
Panaspis annettesabinae measure 42 mm (1.7 in) in snout–vent length.[1][2]
