Description: English: Figure from the 11th edition of Vestiges of the Natural History of Creation published anonymously by Robert Chambers. Date: 31 December 1860. Source: https://archive.org/details/vestigesofnatura1860cham. Author: Robert Chambers (1802-1871). This would seem to be Belemnotheutis, but the caption to the figure says Belemnoteuthis. I have stuck with the spelling in the original caption for the filename, and used the category Belemnotheutis so that the item can be found with a search for either spellinig Licensing[edit] Public domainPublic domainfalsefalse. : This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.
