Clitocybe peckii Murrill, Mycologia 5: 211. 1913
Pileus irregular in outline, umbilicate to depressed, rather deeply depressed on drying, gregarious, reaching 5 cm. broad; surface hygrophanous, smooth, glabrous, grayish-stramineous, faintly radiate-striate on drying, margin thin, somewhat lobed, concolorous, becoming upturned: lamellae discolored, rather crowded, shortdecurrent : spores usually broadly ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, 5-6 X 4-5 fx : stipe slightly tapering upward, concolorous, smooth, glabrous, hollow or stuffed, reaching 4 cm. long and 7 mm. thick.
Type locality: Salem, Oregon. Habitat: In soil.
