Pileus discoid, conspicuously radiate-sulcate, umbilicate, 4 cm. broad; surface glabrous^ ferruginous : lamellae thin, distant, acutely adnate, pallid : stipe slender, sublignose, cylindric, smooth, glabrous, ferruginous to purple, 4 cm. long.
Type i^ocality: Porto Rico.
Habitat: On trunks of trees.
Distribution: Throughout most of tropical North America.
