Pileus fleshy, firm, broadly convex or nearly plane, 2.5-5 cm. broad; surface glabrous,
slightly viscid when moist, dingywhite or grayishwhite ; context white; lamellae crowded,
narrow, adnexed, whitish, becoming brownish-ferruginous, white and minutely denticulate
on the edges; spores subellipsoid, obtuse, 10-12 X 6-8/*; stipe equal, firm, glabrous, slightly
mealy or pruinose at the apex, hollow, sometimes slightly bulbous, concolorous, 3-6 cm. long, 4—6 mm. thick.
