Galera alba Peck, Bull. Torrey Club 24: 143. 1897.
Pileus submembranous, campanulate, very fragile, 2.5-5 cm. broad; surface moist, striate, white, splitting on the margin; lamellae narrow, crowded, white, becoming brownish-ferruginous; spores ellipsoid, 12.5-15 X 7.5-10/*; stipe fragile, hollow, glabrous, white, 3.5-6.5 cm. long, 2-4 mm. thick.
Type locality: Brookings, South Dakota. Habitat: On rich ground in the shade of weeds. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
