Pileus campanulate or ovoid to expanded, 2.5-5 cm. broad and 1-3 cm. high; surface viscid when moist, cream-colored or reddish; lamellae free, crowded, thin, 2-5 mm. wide, creamcolored, white on the edges; spores ellipsoid, 12-18 X 7-9 m; stipe fragile, subequal, hollow, villose-pulverulent or pruinose, 2.5-5 cm. long, 2-3 mm. thick.
Type locality: Compton, California. Habitat: On dead stems and manure. Distribution : Compton and Wilmington. California.
