Uredinia caulicolous, scattered, oblong or linear, 0.5-2 mm. long, somewhat tardily naked, pulverulent, cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis conspicuous; urediniospores globoid or broadly ellipsoid, 19-26 by 23-29 /x; wall golden-brown, 2-2.5 /x thick, closely and finely echinulate, the pores 2, approximately equatorial.
