O and I. Pycnia and aecia unknown.
II. Uredinia hypophyllous or caulicolous, scattered, oval, minute, 0.1—0.2 mm, in diameter, early naked, pulverulent, yellow, ruptured epidermis evident; paraph yses wanting; urediniospores obovoid, 18-24 by 26-32^; wall colorless or pale-brown, 1-1.5 fj. thick, rather sparsely and conspicuously echinulate, the pores very indistinct, probably 2 and equatorial.
