Uredinia hypophyllous, scattered, round or elliptic, 0.3-0.8 mm. across, eariy naked, pulverulent, cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis conspicuous; urediniospores oblate-spheroid, 23-26 fi broad by 19-24 }x, high, or globoid to obovoid, 21-23 by 21-28 ju; wall dark cinnamonbrown, 1.5-2 /J. thick, moderately and strongly echinulate, the pores 2 or 3, subequatorial or approximately equatorial.
