Uredinia hypophyllous, scattered, round, 0.3 mm. in diameter, eariy naked, pulverulent, cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis not noticeable; urediniospores oblate-spheroid, 18-25 M broad by 16-23 /* high, or globoid or obovoid, 18-20 by 20-25 ix; wall cinnamon-brown, 1-2 fi thick, moderately echintilate, the pores 2 or 3, subequatorial or approximately equatorial.
