Bowra Station, via Cunnamulla, Queensland, Australia. Male. One of Australia's most spectacular cockatoos. Also known as the Pink Cockatoo, this beautiful cocky was fairly common at Bowra Station. Two of them flew down to drink at the dam which is right next to the camping area - a lovely sight with the morning sun coming through the red and yellow crest. A nice way to start the day. This one is the male, which has a dark brown eye; females have a red eye. Please see my website
