Diagnostic Description

Hind tibiae without apical spurs; basicosta without strong setae; third antennal segment with at most an acute dorsobasal angle; wing without a dark pattern; frontal callus present; frontoclypeus and genae not shiny and inflated; labella unsclerotized; frontal callus as wide as the frons; four apical flagellomeres clearly visible; frontal callus usually higher than wide; eyes generally purple with green bands; abdomen brown with a broad yellow to yellowish white stripe from base to tergite 6; wing slightly tinged brown apically.
