Diagnostic Description

Hind tibiae with apical spurs; antennal flagellum with 8 distinct flagellomeres; ocelli present; eyes densely pilose; cell m3 of the wing always open; cell r5 usually open, rarely closed; legs not bicolored; abdomen extensively golden pilose, but with the first tergite black pilose, the second with golden hairs forming a large median triangle and lateral patches, third with only dorsolateral anterior black patches, remainder wholly golden pilose.
