Eristalis dimidiata Wiedemann 1830

Eristalis dimidiata is a species of flies in the family flower flies. They visit flowers of bottomland aster, white heath aster, Queen Anne's lace, and flat-top goldentop. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 12.5 mm.
