Het zuidelijk weidegitje (Cheilosia ranunculi) is een vliegensoort uit de familie van de zweefvliegen (Syrphidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2000 door Doczkal.
