Distribution: Cuba, Hispaniola, Dominican Republic, Jamaica Tropidophis haetianus stejnegeri (HOLOTYPE MCZ 44769): northern Jamaica.
Type locality: Port-au-Prince, Département de l'Ouest, Haiti, and Île de la Gonâve, Haiti. Tropidophis haetianus stullae (HOLOTYPE MCZ 44870): Portland Point, Clarendon Parish, Jamaica. Tropidophis haetianus tiburonensis (HOLOTYPE CM 56826): distal portion of the Tiburon Peninsula in Haiti; intergrades with T. h. haetianus.
