Heterotheca villosa (Hairy False Goldenaster) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Cercyonis meadii, Lycaena rubidus, Green Skipper, and Apical Leafcutter Bee. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
