Helladosphaera cornifera is a species of Haptophyta in the family Calyptrosphaeraceae. They are native to Espirito Santo, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, and Paraná. Dead Helladosphaera cornifera form calcareous oozes.
