haptonème chez une algue de la classe des
Haptophyta, entre deux
flagelles (f). D'autres tailles et formes d'haptonèmes sont trouvés chez les algues de cette classe. Parfois l'haptonème est vestigial ou inexistant. Il semble jouer plusieurs fonctions pour l'alimentation et la survie de ces microalques unicellulaires. Il est utilisé pour la classification de ces espèces.
