Frustulia saxonica is a species of diatoms in the family Amphipleuraceae. They are native to SãO Paulo, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Distrito Federal, and Minas Gerais. Dead Frustulia saxonica form siliceous oozes.
