Deze soort komt voor van westelijk Ecuador tot noordwestelijk Peru en van oostelijk Peru tot noordwestelijk Bolivia.

Gråsidetanagar (Conothraupis speculigera) er en spurvefugl i slekten Conothraupis i familien tanagarer.

Utbredelse

Arten hekker på den vestlige bakke av Andes fra det vestlige Ecuador (Pichincha, Azuay, El Oro og Loja) sør til det nordvestlige Peru (Lambayeque og La Libertad) og trekker til det østlige bakke og base of Andes (svært lokalt Amazonas, Cajamarca og San Martín) og det østlige lavland av Ucayali og Madre de Dios i Peru. ^[2][3][4]
