Valonia macrophysa is a species of chlorophytes in the family Valoniaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to SãO Paulo, Ceará, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, and ParaíBa.
