Xyris brevifolia (Shortleaf Yelloweyed Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family Xyridaceae. They are native to Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Sergipe, The Contiguous United States, and Bahia. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum nymphale, Lasioglossum coreopsis, Lasioglossum tamiamense, and Common Little Leaf-cutter Bee.
