Lower leaves are radical, lanceolate to spathulate, with long petiole-like bases, usually entire but occasionally with 2 basal lobes or 1-pinnate; upper cauline leaves are sessile and entire. Heads are solitary or in loose cymes. Ray florets are bright yellow, toothed and ligulate. Disc florets are numerous, yellow and tubular.
