Coreopsis lanceolata (Lanceleaf Tickseed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Toxorhynchites rutilus septentrionalis, Dolichogyna abrupta, and Nomad Bees. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
