Coreopsis lanceolata (Lanceleaf Tickseed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Carpenter-mimic Leaf-cutter Bee, Gymnoclytia occidua, Ashmeadiella bucconis, and Melissodes subillatus. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
