Picea mariana (Black Spruce) is a species of tree in the family pines. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, northern hemisphere, North America, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, United States, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves, yellow flowers, and cones. Individuals can grow to 65 feet.
