Cupressus sempervirens (Italian Cypress) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, scale leaf leaves and cones. Flowers are visited by Chlosyne melitaeoides. Individuals can grow to 22 m.
