TYPE.—On sandstone, Serra Grão Mogul, north base of mountain, Minas Gerais, Brazil, 600–700 m alt, 16 August 1960, Maguire, Magalhães & Maguire 49219 (US, holotype; NY, isotype).
DISTRIBUTION.—Known only from the type-collection.
