Epiphyte. Plants with a distinct stem. Leaves leathery, not folded along their length. Inflorescences usually 2, axillary or below the leaves. Each inflorescence with two rows of up to 6 flowers. Flowers star-shaped, creamy-white, turning apricot with age. Spur 2-3.5 cm long. In suitable locations it may form extensive colonies on the trees.
