Poa palustris (poa de los banzaos, poa común, campera azul) ye una especie de gramínea endémica d'Asia, Europa, Norteamérica. Ye una planta forraxera y útil para control de la erosión o revexetación.
Descripción
Ye una planta perenne; con rizomes y estolones, fueyes glabres; tien vaines aquillaes, llámines allargaes y flexibles, nidies, verde escures de testura media. Ye la especie más importante del xéneru Poa, usar n'amiestu o sola. Ye moderadamente susceptible a munches enfermedaes d'estación fría y tien escasa resistencia natural a inseutos y a bárabos. En 1948 fáense les 1ª variedaes Windor con mayor cantidá de rizomas. Victa tolera bien la solombra.[1]

Poa palustris describióse por Carolus Linnaeus y espublizóse en Systema Naturae, Editio Decima 2: 874. 1759.[2]
- Etimoloxía
Poa: nome xenéricu deriváu del griegu poa = (yerba, sobremanera como forraxe).[3]
palustris: epítetu llatín que significa "palustre".
